Man Facing Federal Charges in Parents' Death on Meskwaki Settlement
Federal authorities have charged a man with the killing of his parents last month on the Meskwaki Settlement in central Iowa. On Friday, an FBI agent filed a criminal complaint against 25 year-old Gordon Lasley Jr. in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids. He is accused of killing his parents Gordon Lasley Sr. and Kim Lasley. They were found in their home Feb. 5 and apparently were killed with an "edged weapon." A bloody machete was found on a couch. Lasley also faces state charges of first-degree murder.
