Fort Dodge Teen Captured After Alleged Escape from Residential Facility
A Fort Dodge teen is in custody after allegedly escaping from the Fort Dodge residential corrections facility. 19 year-old Breon Grady made his initial appearance in court Monday on a Class D felony escape charge. He's also accused of violating terms of his probation by escaping. According to criminal complaints, Grady signed out of the residential corrections facility on February 24 and didn't return. Police Chief Tim Carmody says Grady was arrested on Saturday after officers received a tip that he was wanted for escape. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety, and a preliminary hearing was set for March 20.
