FD Council Approves TIF Funds for Indoor Archery Range



Fort Dodge city officials are hoping that an economic development agreement approved Monday night will help jump-start further development on the city's northwest side. During its business meeting, the council voted to provide $13,300 per year for three years in tax increment financing to the Iowa Outdoors Store. First-ward councilman Terry Moenke says the business plans to build an 18-lane indoor 3D archery range:



During discussion, councilman Jeffrey Halter said he hopes the project will serve as a kickoff to further development for the west side of town.
