Second Death Confirmed in Eastern Iowa Tornadoes

Keokuk County Officials say a second person has died from injuries sustained during a tornado that touched down in southeastern Iowa. A spokeswoman for Cambridge Investment Research in Fairfield says an employee, Pam Ledger, died Tuesday morning from her injuries sustained when a barn collapsed. Another woman, 50 year-old Angie Hanchett, died Sunday when strong winds caused an outbuilding to collapse in a rural area near Kinross. The National Weather Service says the EF1 tornado  had an estimated peak wind of 108 mph and traveled more than 40 miles.
