Iowa Central Approves Tuition Increase; Renews Kinney's Contract

Iowa Central Community College students will their tuition and room and board rates increase in the future. The Fort Dodge Messenger reports the college's board of directors voted to increase tuition rates by $6 per credit hour for in-state students and $9 per credit hour for non-residential. In addition, room and board rates will increase by $200 from $5,950 to $6,150 for the year. The board also approved administrative and support staff employee salaries by 2.9 percent, and renewed president Dan Kinney's contract for three years.
