Eastern Iowa High School Briefly Locked Down for Weapon Threat
A lockdown at an eastern Iowa high school was lifted after authorities cleared a weapon threat. The Linn County Sheriff's Office says the lockdown at Alburnett High School began Wednesday afternoon after authorities said they received a report about a person with a long gun at or near the school. It was lifted less than an hour later. Authorities said they found a BB gun on school property. A student was questioned about the weapon, but no charges are likely.
