Fort Dodge Police Seeking Suspect in Weekend Armed Robbery



The Fort Dodge Police Department is seeking a suspect in connection to an alleged armed robbery that occurred over the weekend. Chief Tim Carmody says shortly after 6:00pm Saturday, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of North 9th Street for a robbery report. The victim, 25 year-old Fort Dodge resident Lucas Osborne, told officers a male suspect approached his vehicle, got inside, and demanded money while displaying a handgun. The suspect then fled the area on foot. No one was injured. Carmody says investigators have strong leads and a potential suspect has been identified.
