Search to Resume this Morning for Kids Believed Missing in Des Moines River
Rescue crews are scheduled to renew their search for two kids who may have went missing in the Des Moines River. For over two hours last night, Crews searched about a 5 mile stretch between the Kenyon Road Bridge south to Coalville after eyewitnesses reported seeing two kids go into the water at around 7:00pm. The only description was one was wearing an orange shirt. Due to darkness and unsafe river conditions, the search was suspended at about 9:30pm. Fort Dodge Fire Chief Kent Hulett said as of last night, no calls had been placed to the Webster County law enforcement center regarding missing children reports
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact local law enforcement.
