Frontier Communications Working to Restore Service to Some FD Customers
Frontier Communications says it continues to work towards repairing a damaged cable that has caused problems for Fort Dodge residents in the last week. The Fort Dodge Messenger reports that a handful of customers were still affected Thursday after a damaged cable caused telephone and internet service outages for several customers. A company spokesman said the damage was caused by a recent street improvement project and was discovered following recent heavy rains. Crews are working around the clock to repair the cable and restore phone and internet service.
