FD Man Charged After Missing Toyota Scion Found

Fort Dodge Police say an arrest has been made in connection to a vehicle that went missing prior to an arson fire. Police Chief Tim Carmody says a Toyota Scion that had been missing since Saturday afternoon was located in Wright County. Information about the location or vehicle's condition is not available at this time. In addition, Carmody says a person of interest, 26 year-old Fort Dodge resident Perne Struchen, turned himself in to authorities Friday morning. He was booked in the Webster County Jail and charged with 1st degree theft, a Class C felony. No charges have been announced in connection to Saturday's fire at 1029 1st Avenue North.
