Fort Dodge Teens Enter Not Guilty Pleas in Gun Fight



Two Fort Dodge teens have entered not guilty pleas in connection to an alleged gun shoot out that left one woman injured. 18 year-old Malik Veal and 17 year-old Jerique Bryson both entered written pleas of not guilty to charges on Monday. Both Veal and Bryson are being held on an attempted murder charge while Veal is also charged with escape from custody. The teens are accused of shooting at each other on June 11 in the 1100 block of 10th Avenue SW. During the exchange, a woman was shot by a stray bullet inside her home. No trial dates have been set at this time.
