Webster County Sheriff's Office Seeking Home Invasion Suspect



Local authorities are searching for a home invasion suspect. The Webster County Sheriff's Office says that  deputies responded to a reported home invasion in Coalville in the 23000 block of Garfield Ave at around noon Wednesday.  According to Webster County Sheriff Jim Stubbs, a female resident was home when the suspect entered the residence.  She struggled with and then discharged a firearm at the suspect, which led him to flee the home.  The suspect is described as a bald white male with a stocky build wearing a tank top.  Evidence was gathered at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.  Investigators are asking for the public's assistance regarding this incident.  Anyone with information should call the Webster County Sheriff's Office or Webster County Crime Stoppers
