Webster City Names New Police Chief

Webster City has named its new police chief. In a press release, the city announced that Sgt Shiloh Mork has been appointed to police chief, and will officially take over on September 2. Mork as been with the department since 2000, and has served as a Sergeant since 2002. Mork began his career with the Charles City Police Department in 1999. In addition, he has also taught at Iowa Central Community College for 10 years. Mork replaces former chief Brian Hughes, who resigned from the position earlier this year.
