#1 OABCIG Going Back To The UNI Dome This Weekend

Class 1A Football’s #1 OABCIG is headed back to the UNI Dome this weekend after routing West Sioux last Friday. The Falcons scored points in the 1st half on its way to a 63-14 win in the State Quarterfinals. OABCIG scored twice in a matter of minutes to open the game. Coach Larry Allen says that gave his team all the momentum early on.

OABCIG has been held under 40 points just once all season. They’re lead by standout dual threat QV Cooper Dejean. He’s an Iowa Hawkeye commit who over 3,800 combined passing and rushing yards, depsite not playing late in many of their games this year due to them being way ahead. Dejean had 400 combined yards and 6 total TD’s in the State Quarterfinal win. Coach Allen says Dejean has exceeded even his expectations this season.

OABCIG is riding a 23 game win streak that goes back to 2018. Dejean was a WR that season, so he’s unbeaten as the team’s starting QB. They take on Sigourney-Keota in the 1A State Semifinals Saturday at 12:30 PM from the UNI Dome. The comments from Larry Allen were made on the “Hy-Vee Fort Dodge Coaches Corner this past Saturday on “Sunny” 99.7.
