The 16 year old who was originally charged as a juvenile in conjunction with a deadly shooting in Fort Dodge last Friday, is now being charged as an adult. Records show that 16 year old Tate Martinson is being charged with 1st Degree Robbery in connection with the deadly shooting of 28 year old Mohammed Yaquob of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The complains says that Martinson admitted he and another person (later identified by police as 19 year old Damion Chavez) were there as part of a drug deal with Yaquob. Police say that Martinson had knowledge that an assault would be committed to obtain the controlled substances. Tate Martinson is scheduled for a preliminary hearing October 24th.
