An arrest has been made into the Saturday morning shooting that left an 18 year old man injured and a neighborhood terrified.
According to the Fort Dodge Police Department 17 year old Quantarius Altman has been arrested and charged with Intimidation with a dangerous weapon, Assault While Participating in a Felony, Dominion Control of Firearm, Going Armed with Intent and Assault While Displaying a Dangerous Weapon.Altman is being charged as an adult and made his initial appearance in Webster County District Court this morning.
He is currently being held on a $54,000 cash bond.
With the information gathered through the past several weeks by the Fort Dodge Police Department… Multiple search warrants were executed early this morning by the Fort Dodge Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division at three residences in Fort Dodge with the assistance of the Fort Dodge/Webster County Special Emergency Response Team.
Those residences were located in the 1800 block of 4th Avenue South, 1300 block of Avenue B, and 600 block of North 22nd Street.
The execution of those warrants resulted in the seizure of multiple firearms, ammunition, illegal narcotics along with numerous other pieces of evidence.
As these investigations developed, it was determined that these incidents were most likely occurring between two groups of known individuals.
Investigators with the Fort Dodge Police Department’s Criminal Investigations and Patrol Divisions have worked to identify those involved.
Altman is currently being held on a $54,000 cash bond. Altman is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Altman is currently being held in the Central Iowa Juvenile Detention Center in Eldora.
