A Special Playoff Edition Of The Hy-Vee Coaches Corner This Saturday Morning

The Hy-Vee Fort Dodge Coaches Corner will air Saturday Morning at 9 AM like is has since June to feature softball and baseball programs around the area. This week’s show is normal in the sense that it is still on “Sunny” 99.7 and here on our website. However, it is a special playoff edition of the program that will feature coaches that have had their season end this week in the playoffs and coaches who have advanced and are continuing their season. The State Softball And Baseball Tournaments are coming up at the end of July and coaches who are still alive in the postseason are looking to make their journey to the state tourney. The scheduled guests for this Saturday’s episode include coaches like Mike Szalat of St. Edmond Baseball, Sheridan Gealow from Southeast Valley Softball and Chace Pruismann of Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Softball all of which have dropped games in the playoffs this week. Those coaches will join  host Rob Jones to review their seasons. Fort Dodge Baseball Coach Blake Utley is scheduled to be on the show as well and will give his reaction to his team’s home playoff game vs Ames from Friday Night. Coaches who have had tremendous years and have squads that are poised and looking to make state tournament appearances like Todd Van Otterloo from Algona Softball and Doug Van Pelt of Humboldt Softball are slated to join the show also. Join Rob Jones as he talks to the coaches listed above and breaks down everything going on in local high school sports Saturday July 18th at 8AM. The show will be live and direct  from the Market Grille at Hy-Vee in Fort Dodge and you can come out and hang out with Rob and the coaches this Saturday morning.
