All Five Charged With Murder From FD Summer Shooting Enter Not Guilty Pleas

All five of the men facing 2nd degree murder stemming from a June shooting here in Fort Dodge have entered not guilty pleas. The shooting happened in the Pleasant Valley area on June 16th, leaving two people dead and two more injured. 35 year old James Davis Jr, 23 year old Darrell L. Jones, 33 year old Michael J. Wells, 22 year old Jermiha Hatten all of Fort Dodge and 55 year old Michael J. Shivers of Eagle Grove all are charged with 2nd degree murder. Wells,Davis, Jones and Shivers all have pleaded guilty to a charge of felon in possession of a gun. The June shooting resulted in the deaths of 25 year old Jamal Cox and 47 year old Tyrone Cunningham, as they were hit with gunfire during the incident.
