Black History Program At 2nd Baptist Church Fort Dodge

In celebration of Black History Month, The Pleasant Valley Awareness Committee will be having a Black History program.  Sherry Washington President of the NAACP Fort Dodge Chapter says the program will shed light on the historical significance of the black community in Fort Dodge.

Committee Member Jessica Moffitt says the program will feature a variety of things.

Cameron Nelson from the Pleasant Valley Awareness Committee feels the program will help to unify the community.

The Black History program will be Sunday February 9th at 2 PM at the  2nd Baptist Church of Fort Dodge.
