Board Of Health Chair Talks About Amending Mask Regulation

On Monday afternoon, we published a story about the mask regulation passed by the Webster County Board Of Health being delayed in being sent to the Supervisory Board. A release from Webster County Public Health Monday stated the delay was so the regulation could be amended. The original release stated the Board Of Health had learned of “new valuable information”, it wanted to discuss and integrate by amendment into the regulation prior to its presentation to the Supervisory Board. Linda Opheim is the Webster County Board Of Health Chair and here’s her comments on the new information.

Opheim says the the language of the regulation is being worked on and once language is changed it then will go before the Supervisors Board.
