Buena Vista County Man Arrested On Alleged Child Abuse Charges

A Buena Vista County man is facing charges stemming from alleged child abuse. 28 year old Storm Lake resident, Victor Montoya has been arrested for child endangerment causing bodily injury.

The original allegations came about injuries were allegedly discovered on a 2 year child after a custody exchange. The Storm Lake PD and Iowa DHS then opened an investigation into those claims.

The child endangerment charge is a Class D felony.
