Callender Mother Sentenced to Prison for Child Endangerment

A Callender mother accused of allowing her children to be abused by her boyfriend has been sentenced to prison.

Michelle McMullen was sentenced yesterday in Webster County District Court to serve 5 year prison sentences for each of the four counts of child endangerment she plead guilty to.

She had been charged with ten counts of child endangerment following an investigation into allegations surrounding her then  boyfriend Joseph Hill.

Investigators alleged that McMullen knew about ongoing abuse and failed to report it until the Department of Human Services asked her about it.

She will serve the four five year sentences concurrently.
