Campbell Has ISU Prepped For Their 1st Ever “New Year’s Six” Bowl Game

Iowa State and Oregon are treating this like a normal game week. The 10th ranked Cyclones and 25th ranked Ducks collide Saturday in the Fiesta Bowl. Here’s ISU Coach Matt Campbell’s comments going into Saturday.

It is not a normal bowl week in terms of festivities leading up to the game, but Campbell says nothing about this season has been normal.

Oregon coach Mario Cristobal says the Ducks stayed in Eugene over Christmas to prepare for the game.

Oregon has played just 6 games after the Pac-12 delayed starting the season due to the pandemic. The Ducks are 4-2 and will now take on a Cyclone team that has played 11 games.

Hear all the action as ISU plays in it’s first ever “New Year’s Six” Bowl Saturday. Pregame coverage starts at 1 pm, kickoff at 3 on your home for Cyclone Football “True Country” 540 KWMT.
