“Christmas In The City” Going On Dec. 5th In Webster City

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic. “Christmas In The City” in Webster City is going on this weekend. The event is Saturday, Melissa Miller from the Webster City Chamber Of Commerce says they had to make some adjustments to the normal schedule this year.

The festivities will begin at 1 PM Saturday with a free movie at the historic Webster Theatre presented by Iowa Central Community College, they’ll be showing the holiday classic “Prancer”. Tickets to the movie are available on a first come, first serve bases by calling the Webster City Chamber Office at 515- 832-2564. Following the movie, the tree lighting will take place around 5:15 PM at the Availa Bank Plaza. Melissa Miller says even with the ongoing pandemic, they are looking to make the most out of the event.

Webster City does encourage social distancing and face coverings during Saturday’s festivities.
