CICS is a Mental Health and Disability Services Region that works with people experiencing brain health struggles and intellectual or other developmental disabilities, in 15 Iowa counties. The organization connects individuals to services that improve their quality of life. CICS began serving Webster, Wright and Hancock Counties on July 1st. They also serves other area counties like Boone, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, and Story.

CICS will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony in Fort Dodge on Tuesday July 13th. The event will begin at 9 AM at the Elderbridge Conference Room. During the event, organization officials will provide a description of CICS’s services, offer a tour of the facility and answer questions.

CICS welcomes local media, county and city officials, local businesses, those interested in services as well as the general public to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremonyA subsequent ribbon cutting will take place in Wright County at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13.
