The city of Fort Dodge held a ceremony Thursday to take their oath of office. The council members sworn in were both those who were re-elected and newly elected in this past November’s city election. Iowa district 2 Chief Judge Kurt Wilke administered the oath.
The council members that took the oath included newly elected Ward 2 Representative Andy Fritz and re-elected members Kim Alstott (Ward 4), Dave Flattery (Ward 3), Terry Moehnke ( Ward 1), and councilman at large Neven Conrad. Fritz is returning to the council after serving as an at-large member from 2010 to 2017.
