The City Of Fort Dodge released a statement Wednesday that it will now begin accepting special event permits on a case by case basis. The city says organizers of events that can meet the current health guidelines are welcome to begin the submit for their permit through the normal process. Events of larger size will not be accepted until further notice. Event organizers are urged to evaluate their current event strategy and adapt as need to fit health guidelines to be able to provide these events in the community.
