Any coach will tell you that when you are having a successful or “special” type of season, that moments happen that define that season. Often those moments can easily be pointed out and serve as milestones or turning points. On June 1st, St. Edmond Softball had just that. That was the night that they blew a 9 run lead late in the game to SE Valley. The Gaels ended up losing 12-9 to Southeast Valley. Since the first day of June, St. Edmond has been on fire. They are 14-2 since that loss and are in the mix for the North Central Conference Title going into the final stretch of regular season play. St. Edmond is sitting at 15-5 on the season and 6-2 in conference. Coach Bill Shirbroun joined Rob Jones to talk about their season and the recent reveal of their playoff draw. The conversation is below.
