Humboldt Football sits at 3-2 after 5 weeks of this season, having already eclipsed their win total from 2019. Coach Derrick Elman is in his 3rd year and even though Humboldt has fallen in its last two games you can see the body of work this season as a turning point for their program. Elman joined Rob Jones on the “Hy-Vee Fort Dodge Coaches Corner” on “Sunny” 99.7 Saturday Morning. Coach talked about the Wildcats loss to Ballard in week 5 and dealing with losing players to Covid-19 contact tracing quarantine. That conversation is below.
