Coach Doug Gaul Talks Manson NW Webster Baseball

The term “paying your dues” comes to mind when you think of Coach Doug Gaul at Manson NW Webster. Gaul has coached at Manson NW Webster at various levels for nearly 2 decades. He took over as the Varsity Head Coach last year. In his first year in that position he had to not only navigate a new role, but also the covid-19 pandemic. Manson NW Webster started 2-0 in 2020, later in the season they were hit with Covid-19 issues. They then were on quarantine for 2 weeks and got off that quarantine just in time for the playoffs. The Cougars competed with ACGC in the playoffs in 2020 before falling 3-1. Coach Gaul joined Rob Jones on Saturday morning and talked about last season and looked ahead to this one. Manson opens their season on Tuesday with Estherville Lincoln Central, they will then host St. Edmond on Thursday.
