“Coach K” Talks St. Edmond Boys Basketball Split Week & Previews Upcoming Games

Adolph Kochendorfer is his legal name but he’s better known to folks around North Central Iowa as “Coach K”. The longtime stalwart coach has been that the helm for St. Edmond Boys Basketball for decades. Coach joined the “Hy-Vee Fort dodge Coaches Corner” in its return episode after the holiday break on Saturday morning. He talked with Rob Jones about the split week the Gaels had winning at Webster City Tuesday and falling at Algona Friday. He says that his team is still having issues rebounding the ball and that played a factor in the loss at Algona. “Coach K” always stresses defense, rebounding and team first approach offensively, he spoke on that again in his appearance Saturday. He also previewed their three games upcoming this week. The conversation is below.
