In response to the COVID-19 virus the Community Health Center of Fort Dodge will increase its days of
operation to 7 days a week starting immediately in the medical department at its Fort Dodge location.
The clinic’s temporary increase will include being open on Saturday and Sunday. Hours of operation will
be 8 am to 5 pm each day. The increased hours apply only to the medical department, the dental and
behavioral health departments will be operating Monday through Friday as usual. In addition, a
dedicated phone number for COVID-19 questions has been established at 515-576-6562.
All patients and visitors to the clinic will have their temperature taken at the door, as extra precautions
are in place. If you are running a fever please call ahead to be screened over the phone. Those needing
to come to the clinic with a known fever will be directed to enter though an alternate entrance to avoid
contact with others.
The Community Health Center of Fort Dodge offers medical, dental and behavioral health services to the
community. These services are offered regardless of insurance status they accept Medicare, Medicaid
and most private insurance. A sliding fee scale is available for those who qualify. The health center is
