Confirmed Covid-19 Cases At Wright County Food Plant

16 positive cases of covid-19 were confirmed by officials in Wright County Monday. Those 16 people are employees of Prestage Foods near Eagle Grove. All 16 of those cases are employees who live in Black Hawk County and commute to the Wright County facility. All of those cases will count as confirmed cases in Black Hawk County since those individuals live there. Testing has begun on all employees of the facility. Those employees who test negative will be able to return to work 2 days after they are tested. Those that test positive will have to quarantine themselves to adhere to state policy and then would be eligible to return to work. The company said those that test positive would continue being paid while under quarantine.
