During this pandemic unconventional methods have become “conventional wisdom” and people have had to find new ways to carry out normal practices. Two area residents, Demarcus Carter and Sarah Small have done just that. They are the organizers of an event going on Tuesday August 4th that puts a new spin on the traditional town hall meeting. “Constituents In Cars” is an event that will allow people from the area to speak with local elected officials without leaving their car. You would just drive up and the team of moderators would then connect with the local official you want to speak with. The event will be at the City Square here in Fort Dodge from 6 PM – 7 PM. The local officials scheduled to be there are Terry Moehnke, Lydia Schuur, and Neven Conrad from the Fort Dodge City Council, along with Stu Cochrane from the Fort Dodge School Board and Niki Conrad from the Webster County Board Of Supervisor.
