Eagle Grove Man Sentenced To Over A Decade In Federal Prison

A Wright County man is set to spend more than a decade in federal prison. 50 year old, Eagle Grove resident Bobby Hernandez entered guilty pleas in 2020 to a federal weapons charge and conspiracy to distribute meth. Hernandez was convicted of a felony in 2009, which made it illegal for him to possess a firearm. In 2019, Hernandez was arrested in Webster County twice and found with meth on both occasions. In the 2nd arrest, Hernandez was found with a pistol. Court Documents state that he admitted to distributing over 1.5 pounds of meth. Hernandez has been sentenced to 12 years and 8 months.
