Early Friday Morning Accident On Highway 20

An accident occurred Friday morning on Highway 20 in the westbound lanes. As of 6 AM Friday morning officers were still on the scene as a semi-truck overturned blocking both westbound lanes of Highway 20 between Racine and Poplar Ave. Vehicles can pass through by using the shoulder of the road (as of 6AM) but motorists should use extreme caution and consider an alternate route if possible. No injuries have been initially reported from the accident. Delays in the morning commute are expected in that area. Slick roadways and gusty winds are providing difficult driving conditions for Friday morning.
