The evacuation order for a Northwest Iowa town has been lifted. An evacuation order was in Sibley following a massive train derailment on Sunday. The order included residents and an area hospital, the order was lifted Monday.
Sunday afternoon, numerous rail cars derailed and some were carrying hazardous materials, The derailment caused a fire that put off a black smoke clouds. Authorities were concerned the smoke was creating toxic fumes.
As of Tuesday, Union Pacific Railroad was still investigating the cause of the derailment.
