At Monday’s Fort Dodge City Council meeting the council voted against the request of a resident for right of way usage for a fence he built on his property. The man’s name is Ian Lumpp and the property is near the interscetion of 10th Ave. North and Forest Ave. He had previously asked the council to give part of the right of way up, upon that request Ward 2 Council Rep. Andy Fritz proposed a compromise between the two properties. That compromise was voted down on Monday here’s the reaction from Council Member Fritz.

The council voted 6-1 against granting the usage of right of way to Mr. Lumpp, with Fritz being the lone member to vote for it.
