The Fort Dodge Community School District has confirmed a student at Fort Dodge Senior High has been diagnosed with covid-19. In addition to the case at Fort Dodge Senior High, a 5th grader at Fort Dodge Middle School also tested positive for the virus. The District notified families of students of the confirmed case on Tuesday Evening. Families of students at FDSH got an automated call informing them that a student was diagnosed with the virus. The District says that families of students who were exposed will be contacted by Webster County Public Health. The call from the FD Community School District also reminded families to encourage students to frequently wash their hands, adhere to social distancing guidelines and to wear a face covering when social distancing is not possible.
