First Covid-19 Related Deaths In Humboldt and Buena Vista Counties

Public Health officials in Humboldt and Buena Vista counties have confirmed the first covid-19 related deaths in those counties. The person that passed away in Humboldt County was between 61-80 years old. Age demographics on the Buena Vista County covid-19 death as of the time of this report. According to the state’s covid-19 website as of Tuesday morning, Buena Vista County has over 800 confirmed cases of the virus. Many of those cases are attributed to the outbreak in the Storm Lake Tyson plant. That same website shows Humboldt County as of Tuesday morning at 18 confirmed cases.
