Five Motorcycle Club Members Arrested

Law enforcement agencies in Wright County along with state and federal agencies have executed search warrants led to the arrest of members of the Sons Of Silence Motorcycle Club. The search warrants were executed at several residences in North Central Iowa. The club members were arrested on charges of criminal gang activity. The five members arrested were 41 year old Cory Dale Woods of Waverly, 37 year old Anthony Jacob Kelley of Belmond, 41 year old Latimer resident Chad Robert Simmons, 37 year old Justin Anthony Carlson and 43 year old Belmond resident Daniel Robert Carolus. The arrests stemmed from an alleged incident in April in which those five men allegedly followed a man and his wife forcing them to pull over on Central Ave. in Clarion. According to reports they then forced the man to take off his mototcycle vest and allegedly shoved and threatened to assault the man. The man was an off duty police officer. The five club members have been released from jail and are awaiting court proceedings.
