Former Charity Leader & Current Wife Of D-1 Basketball Coach Arrested
Jennifer Woodley, the former CEO of Make-A-Wish Iowa and current wife of a D-1 assistant basketball coach is facing criminal charges. She was booked into the Polk County jail Thursday on charges of 1st degree theft and unauthorized use of a credit card. The 40 year old Woodley, was dismissed from her position as the CEO of the charity organization last year. Financial discrepancies were found in the organization’s compliance review prior to her dismissal. After departing from the Urbandale based charity, Woodley is now living in Winston-Salem, NC. Her husband Matt Woodley is an assistant coach with Wake Forest Men’s Basketball . Prior to going to joining the staff of Wake Forest Head Coach Steve Forbes, Matt Woodley was an assistant at Drake University in Des Moines.
