Former Church Missionary Found Guilty on Sex Abuse Charges Involving a Child

One year after the warrant was issued for his arrest, a former church missionary living in Fort Dodge is now sitting in jail after being found guilty of sex crimes involving a child.

32 year old Jordan Dee Webb was found guilty Friday of Sex Abuse in the 2nd Degree, Child Endangerment and another Sex Related Charge.

According to court documents, a warrant for his arrest was issued April 26th, 2022  following an investigation by area law enforcement in regards to health concerns involving a juvenile

That call led to further investigation by the Webster County Sheriff’s and Webster County Attorney’s Offices.

Webster County County Attorney Darren Driscoll told Alpha Media that this was an unusually hard case to try because of the young age of the victim.

The trial began last Wednesday and was wrapped up by Friday after jury deliberations.

Driscoll says it took a lot of people and their expertise over the course of the last year to build this case.

He will be sentenced on June 5th.
