Former Dodger Basketball Standout Shareece Smith Signs With Bellevue

Fort Dodge Senior High alumnus and former basketball standout Shareece Smith is transferring from Iowa Lakes Community College. The school announced that Smith has signed her letter of intent with Bellevue University in Nebraska. Smith helped lead Iowa Lakes to 40 wins in her two seasons there and graduated from their criminal justic program. She was a 1st team all regional selection as a Freshman and a 2nd team selection as a Sophomore at Iowa Lakes. This past season she averaged 13 points per, 7 rebounds per and shot 36% from 3 pint range which was 4th best in the conference. Smith is a class of 2018 graduate from Fort Dodge Senior High. She was a 2 time all CIML performer as a Dodger. Smith said she selected Belluvue an NAIA school because she feels it is great fit for her and they have an outstanding criminal justic program.
