Fort Dodge Baseball Coach Blake Utley Reviews Last Week & Previews The Upcoming Week

Fort Dodge Baseball and Coach Blake Utley, had a bit of a roller coaster ride last week. They opened last week, dropping both games of a road twin bill to Mason City. The Dodger pitching staff had uncharacteristic issues with control and walked 16 hitters in those two games. Fort Dodge bounced back off that and won a thriller over Marshalltown in game one of a double header at Mcneil on Wednesday. They had a 12-0 lead in game two, before the game was called due to lightning. They then dropped a hard fought game on Thursday to Valley, 4-1. Coach Utley joined Rob Jones on the “Hy-Vee Fort Dodge Coaches Corner”, Saturday to talk about it.
