Fort Dodge Bowling Brings Home Hardware At State

The Fort Dodge Boys Bowling team captured the state championship Tuesday. The state meet was held at Cadillac Lanes in Waterloo. The Dodgers edged 2nd place finisher Urbandale by 4 pins to take home the title. Fort Dodge Junior Kaleb Anderson won the individual state title. Members of the boys team include Kaleb Anderson, Jayden Ray, Tre Preston, Brady Graves, David Folsom and Carson Werning. The team is coached by Nick Vinson and assisted by Hannah Munson. The Fort Dodge Girls Bowling team qualified for state and finished 7th after winning state last year. The title marks back to back team state titles (Girls in 2019 , Boys this year) and it also marks the 6th team or individual state title for Dodger Bowling in the last 6 seasons.
