Fort Dodge Caseys Store Robbed Sunday Night

(Alpha Media- Brooke Bickford) The search is on for a robbery suspect who entered a Fort Dodge Casey’s Store Sunday night and demanded money.

According to the Fort Dodge Police Department, the Webster County Telecommunications Center received information at around 11:40 PM that an individual entered the store at 2007 North 15th Street and demanded money before leaving on foot.

Officers spoke to the victim and other witnesses and information gathered at that time indicated a male entered the store and demanded money from the cashier. No weapon was displayed during this incident and no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a male, standing approximately 6’ tall, wearing all black clothing including a face covering. 

The Fort Dodge Police Department is continuing to investigate this incident and encourage anyone who may have information to contact police immediately. Anyone who may have video surveillance of the area around this time, is encouraged to contact law enforcement. The Fort Dodge Police Department was assisted on scene by the Webster County Sheriff’s Office.
