In his 1st year at the helm of Dodger Football Coach Nik Moser has guided his squad to a solid regular season showing against one of Iowa’s toughest schedules. Coach Moser inherited a squad that graduated 16 starters from the 6-4 playoff qualifying squad last year. In his first year, he has navigated personnel turnover, a pandemic, injuries and a brutal schedule. Dodgers are sitting at 3-4 they will open the playoffs on the road October 23rd at Waterloo West. The two teams have matching records and Moser says their are quite a few similarities between the two programs. Coach Moser joined Rob Jones for the “Hy-Vee Fort Dodge Coaches Corner” on “Sunny” 99.7 Saturday. The two talked about the injury status of the Dodger squad, the play of all time interceptions leader Sam Daniel, the growth of the secondary and the challenges posed by Waterloo West.
