The CEO of the Fort Dodge Community Foundation/ United Way Fort Dodge Randy Kuhlman joined Rob Jones on “Dodger Weekly” on KVFD AM 1400. Kuhlman talked about the Disaster Response Fund that the organization created in March. The two talked about creation of the fund, progress on raising funds for that, and dispersing those funds. Kuhlman says much of the focus of the foundation has been on food insecurity and helping food banks in the area be able to meet the increased needs since the covid-19 related economic shutdown. Kuhlman also talked about some other efforts the organizations have been apart of in conjunction with other local organizations. He talked about trying to raise awareness of people in need to the resources available locally. Full interview is below.
