Fort Dodge Fire and Rescue Battles Vacant House Fire Sunday

There were no injuries but a full on operation was in play at a vacant house fire located 

On the southside of Fort Dodge.

According to Fort Dodge Fire and Rescue The fire at 930 South 14th was called into dispatch in the late afternoon and once units arrived on the scene they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the residence. 

After an initial defensive strategy crews entered the structure, finding no one inside. 

A second alarm was called to assist crews on the scene.

According to the Webster county Assessor’s Office, the home is owned by Miaya Pendelton.
